Jenna & Tyrel {engagement}

Yay for 2 engagement posts in a row! I love engagement pictures! They're so fun! Here are Jenna & Tyrel's! These 2 drove from Wamego for me to take their pictures and then picked me up, in their very cool car I might add, and we headed to Gage Park for their session. The roses were in bloom and it was a near perfect evening! Here's my faves from their shoot! Enjoy!

Sarah & Dylan {engagement}

Meet Sarah & Dylan! These two are beyond adorable. They were giggly and snuggly the whole shoot, even though it was about 112 degrees.... well it felt like it anyway! Dylan is such a ham and was constantly making Sarah and I crack up, which makes for some awesome photos!! Enjoy!

Christy & Robbie {wedding}

On August 8th I had the pleasure of shooting Christy & Robbie's beautiful wedding in Manhattan. It was absolutely gorgeous! Very simple but very elegant! I loved this group because their day wasn't all about the flowers or the dress or the little details that they won't remember years from now. Their day was about their love for each other. Never once did I hear anyone complain or freak out over something, they all just had a lot of fun together! There were numerous times during the day when even I was crying! It was such an emotional, spiritual day! It was awesome! I had too many favorites to count and I tried to narrow it down, but this is still going to be a pretty long post! Enjoy!

Here's their first look. Too cute! Cried then too.

Fun detail of Christy's dress & bouquet. I loved her dress! It's kind of what I want for my wedding!

We were running ahead of schedule, so before the ceremony I had a little time to play around with their rings! This one is my fave!

A great moment during the ceremony.

After Robbie & Christy lit the unity candle. They had their parents come up and they all got in a circle and held hands and prayed together. I cried here too.

After the ceremony we stopped at the K-State Gardens.

Elizabeth {senior}

Here is my first senior girl of the year!! Honestly I think she might be my first senior girl ever... hmmm, I'll have to check into that. Anyway, here's Elizabeth! I met Elizabeth and her mom, Marsha, in downtown Kansas City in a really really cool part of town. There were a bunch of really old buildings that are now used for some offices and a lot of artists have their studios there and there is a TON of graffiti! Which, of course, is my favorite! I was so excited about this location and it did not disappoint! I will most definitely be going back there for photo shoots in the future! After we played around in the alleys and railroad tracks, we head to Union Station to get some fun shots in front of the fountain. Elizabeth is a senior at Shawnee Mission East and after graduation she wants to move to New York and pursue a career in journalism. She's already made a name for herself and has met some big people in the biz (she was on TRL and knows Robin on Good Morning America), so I expect to hear great things from her! Here are some of my faves!! Enjoy!

Bryce {senior}

Bryce is my first senior of the year to post! Yay! Bryce, his mom Drue, and I went out around Topeka and shot his senior photos a few weeks ago. He's going to be a senior at Seaman High this year and then is thinking of going on to K-State and getting a degree in teaching. We had a lot of fun! And look at him... he ain't ugly!

You may get to see more of Bryce later on in the next month or 2. Seaman's track was under construction when we took his pictures, so we're going to head out sometime soon and take some good track pictures! Thanks Bryce and Drue!!
