Meet adorable little Lilly! I know Lilly's grandma, Ann, because she worked for my uncle and is just one of my favorite people! And I jumped at the chance to take pictures of her little Lilly! Here are some of my favorites of the cutie patootie!!

Amie & Jarrod {wedding}

Hey everyone! Yay I'm finally posting some pictures!! About a month ago I photographed Amie & Jarrod's wedding in Manhattan. You might remember their engagement shoot from last fall, one of my favorites I've done! Their wedding was beautiful! And full of fall colors and pumpkins and leaves and it was great! Punkin' Pickin'

Yesterday Luke, Kody and I went to the pumpkin patch!! This is my absolute favorite time of year and I always get a little over excited to go to the pumpkin patch, pick out the perfect one, and take it home to carve and watch "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown". I love it! Here are some pictures of the evening!

And the winners! Luke was feeling nice, so he picked the ugly warty one. I said that we all got 2, but in all reality the boys only cared enough to pick out 1, and I picked out 4 because, come on, you can't have just 1 pumpkin!!!

I hope everyone has a happy fall! It's my favorite. I am definitely more of a fall/spring girl then a winter/summer girl. I love the colors of the trees and the sweaters and jackets and scarves and all the great soups and stews! I am going to my hometown Monday, which is the city of beautiful maples, so everyone be prepared for some great tree photos!!

Cody {senior}

Cody is another senior from Silver Lake! We had a quick but fun session with him on the windiest day ever, so I was really happy when he showed up with a buzzed haircut! Cody was a freshman when Silver Lake won state in football, so he has the really cool ring, which of course made it into a few photos! Here are some of my favorites from his shoot!

Jennifer & Jake {engagement}

This couple is why I love my job so much! Jenn & Jake first heard about me at the PWG bridal fair last January and apparently loved my work because they hired me to photograph their wedding about a week later. I first knew that Jenn and I would totally hit it off when she said that my work looked like Lauren Clark's... little did she know, I pretty much worship the ground that Lauren Clark walks on. My goal is to become good friends with all of my brides, in order to customize their day to their personal tastes. And I have to say that Jenn has become one of my best friends! We email each other at least 3 times a week with about 4 page emails! I love it! I absolutely cannot wait until their wedding next September, but for now here are some of my favorites from their engagement shoot! It was really really hard for me to narrow these down because I pretty much love all of them!



We started off at the Matrot Winery, here in Topeka. It's a lot of fun and has some great spots for photos! Who doesn't love a couple gargoyles in their photos!

After the winery, we headed downtown to my favorite alleys!





I love love love this one!





The last spot we went to was Lake Shawnee. Their wedding is going to be at Jake's parents house on Pomona Lake, and they are both very out-doorsy people (they're training for a marathon right now for Pete's sake!) so it only seemed fitting that we get some shots of them at the lake!





Of course, we had to do my ring shot!
