Katie & Jacob {wedding}

Katie and Jacob were married on May 1st here in Topeka. I was really excited for this wedding because I knew Katie and her mom a little bit before the big day and the ceremony was held at the church I attend! It was so nice to know my way around and see so many friendly faces throughout the day. I've made this a kind of long post since it's been ages since I posted! Eek!

Also, you'll see some photos in this grouping that were taken by the amazingly talented Autumn Shoemaker. She was crazy enough to want to shadow me during a wedding and she did so great! Enjoy!





My church has the most beautiful stained glass windows. So I had to incorporate them in the photos somehow!


Katie is an extremely talented artist and made these little flowers for her bridesmaids to wear in their hair! So cute!


This ring box was Katie's grandmothers and is from the 1930's.


This was Katie's dads reaction to seeing her for the first time. I love it!

Lilly {kiddo session}

I met Lilly and her grandma, Ann, out at Lake Shawnee a few weeks ago to take her 11 month pictures in the tulips! Topeka has beautiful tulips in the spring that provide the perfect back drop for some little girl photos. I'll be shooting Lilly's 1st birthday extravaganza in a week, so check back for that!
