10 Days... Are You Serious?!?!!?

Well for those of you who follow my blog or know me at all, know that I'm getting married in only 10 days! I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I am getting married, so it's a little strange to think that that day is just next week. Honestly I couldn't be more excited and I know that in the end all of the stress, the planning, and the sleepless nights are going to be completely worth it. I really have loved this whole planning process, and I know I've said a couple times that I should add wedding planning to my business... well I don't know about that. But it really has been a lot of fun and I can't wait to get my own wedding photos back! Sarah Crawmer of Beautiful Isolations Photography, will be taking our wedding photos and I couldn't be more excited to see what amazing things she does with us! And she really has her work cut out for her. I haven't posted many of our engagement photos because Luke and I are total goofs in front of a camera and have a hard time just taking a good picture!

I can't wait until our big day and we can finally live out the day that we've been planning on for a year! And I can't wait to see our pictures from it! After the wedding and our move to Gardner is over and my life has settled back down, plan to see lots of great things here on the blog and on my website. I already have shoots lined up to show you that I'm really excited about!

Amy & Derrick {wedding}

Amy and Derrick were married here in Topeka on June 19th. The day started with a pretty bad storm that completely uprooted huge trees in my hometown and blew all of my mom's porch furniture out into the street, and ended in just a terribly hot day. But Amy and Derrick didn't let that take away from their special day. It was a beautiful ceremony and everyone had a great time at the reception. Congratulations guys!

Chris & Laura {wedding}

This is a very special wedding, the groom is my cousin! Chris and Laura were married June 12 here in Topeka at Faith Lutheran Church and the reception was held at the Kansas History Museum. It was a beautiful day and we all had a great time! Here are some of my favorites from their day.

My cousin is a member of the Beta Sigma Psi fraternity and all the other guys at the reception sang to Laura. It was really fun!

Senior Photo Time!

It's that time of year again. School is a month or so away and summer is in full swing, so of course, it's time to start thinking about senior photos! I LOVE taking senior pictures! I have so much fun with all the kids I get to spend some time with and photograph and I love to try new places and poses with them. So I'm really excited to get started on this years group!
